GTF2H2C

Description

The GTF2H2C (GTF2H2 family member C) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 5.

GTF2H2C is a subunit of the core-TFIIH basal transcription factor, which plays a crucial role in DNA repair and RNA transcription. It participates in nucleotide excision repair (NER) of DNA, and when combined with CAK (CDK-activating kinase), it contributes to RNA transcription by RNA polymerase II.

GTF2H2C is also known as GTF2H2C_2.
