GRIP2

Description

The GRIP2 (glutamate receptor interacting protein 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.

Glutamate receptor-interacting protein 2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the GRIP2 gene. GRIP2 has been shown to interact with liprin-alpha-1.

GRIP2 acts as a scaffolding protein, organizing multiprotein signaling complexes in neurons. It also facilitates the movement of these complexes to specific locations within the neuron.

GRIP2 is also known as -.
