GPRASP1

Description

The GPRASP1 (G protein-coupled receptor associated sorting protein 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome X.

GPRASP1 (G-protein coupled receptor-associated sorting protein 1) is a protein encoded by the GPRASP1 gene in humans. It has been shown to interact with the Delta Opioid receptor.

GPRASP1 regulates the sorting of G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) to lysosomes, leading to their degradation. This process is mediated through its interaction with BECN2.

GPRASP1 is also known as GASP, GASP-1, GASP1.
