GPR45

Description

The GPR45 (G protein-coupled receptor 45) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 2.

GPR45, also known as Probable G-protein coupled receptor 45, is a gene that encodes a protein belonging to the G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) family. GPCRs contain seven transmembrane domains and are involved in signaling processes within cells by activating heterotrimeric G proteins. GPR45 is an intronless gene, meaning it lacks introns, and may function within the central nervous system.

GPR45 is also known as PSP24, PSP24(ALPHA), PSP24A.
