GPR26
Description
The GPR26 (G protein-coupled receptor 26) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 10.
GPR26, the gene encoding Probable G-protein coupled receptor 26, is expressed at its highest levels perinatally, coinciding with the initial challenges to the visual system. This gene contains a 53 kb LD-block enriched with SNPs linked to introgressed Neanderthal DNA. It is also known to form oligomeric structures with the 5-HT1a receptor.
GPR26 is also known as -.
