GPN3

Description

The GPN3 (GPN-loop GTPase 3) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 12.

GPN3 is a small GTPase that plays a critical role in the proper localization of RNA polymerase II (RNAPII) within the cell. It is thought to function at an early step in the assembly of RNAPII, potentially prior to its transport into the nucleus.

GPN3 is also known as ATPBD1C.
