GPN2

Description

The GPN2 (GPN-loop GTPase 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

GPN2 is a small GTPase that plays a crucial role in the proper positioning of RNA polymerases II and III (RNAPII and RNAPIII). It is believed to act during an assembly step of these polymerases before they are transported into the nucleus.

GPN2 is also known as ATPBD1B.
