GOSR1

Description

The GOSR1 (golgi SNAP receptor complex member 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 17.

GOSR1 (Golgi SNAP receptor complex member 1) is a protein involved in intracellular protein transport. It functions as a trafficking membrane protein, moving proteins between the endoplasmic reticulum (ER), Golgi apparatus, and different compartments within the Golgi. It is a crucial component of the Golgi SNAP receptor (SNARE) complex, which mediates vesicle fusion. GOSR1 has multiple isoforms generated by alternative splicing. It interacts with USO1, BET1L, and STX5.

GOSR1 is also known as GOLIM2, GOS-28, GOS28, GOS28/P28, GS28, P28.
