GOLIM4

Description

The GOLIM4 (golgi integral membrane protein 4) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.

GOLIM4 is involved in moving proteins from endosomes to the Golgi apparatus. It helps transport proteins along a specialized pathway that bypasses the late endosome and directly delivers proteins to the Golgi.

GOLIM4 is also known as GIMPC, GOLPH4, GPP130, P138.
