GML

Description

The GML (glycosylphosphatidylinositol anchored molecule like) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 8.

GML, short for Glycosyl-phosphatidylinositol-anchored molecule-like protein, is a human gene. It has been linked to potential roles in both apoptosis (programmed cell death) and cell cycle regulation, particularly when DNA damage activates the p53 protein.

GML is also known as LY6DL.
