Description

The GLYATL1 (glycine-N-acyltransferase like 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 11.

GLYATL1 acts as an acyltransferase, catalyzing the transfer of an acyl group to the N-terminus of glutamine. It can utilize phenylacetyl-CoA as a source of the acyl group.

GLYATL1 is also known as GATF-C, GNAT.
