GLMP
Description
The GLMP (glycosylated lysosomal membrane protein) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.
GLMP is essential for the stability of the lysosomal transporter MFSD1. It shields MFSD1 from degradation within lysosomes and ensures its proper localization to these cellular compartments.
GLMP is also known as C1orf85, NCU-G1, lnc-UCID.
