Description
The GIMAP8 (GTPase, IMAP family member 8) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 7.
GIMAP8 plays a protective role in the immune system by preventing cell death (apoptosis). It also helps the body respond to infections.
GIMAP8 is also known as IAN-9, IAN6, IAN9, IANT.
