MLPA

Multiplex Ligation-dependent Probe Amplification (MLPA)

MLPA allows the amplification of multiple targets with a single primer pair and detects copy number changes at the molecular level. It’s an important diagnostic tool for detecting deletions or duplications in genes linked to hereditary disorders and cancers, as well as for characterizing chromosomal aberrations in cell lines and tumor samples
