ZXDA

Description

The ZXDA (zinc finger X-linked duplicated A) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome X.

ZXDA works together with a protein called CIITA to help turn on genes that make MHC class I and MHC class II proteins. These proteins are important for the immune system to recognize and fight off foreign invaders.

ZXDA is also known as ZNF896.
