Description

The ZNHIT6 (zinc finger HIT-type containing 6) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

This protein plays a crucial role in the accumulation of box C/D snoRNAs. It participates in snoRNA processing, transporting snoRNAs to the nucleolus, and contributing to ribosome biogenesis.

ZNHIT6 is also known as BCD1, C1orf181, NY-BR-75.
