ZNF8

Description

The ZNF8 (zinc finger protein 8) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 19.

Zinc finger protein 8 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ZNF8 gene.

ZNF8 acts as a transcriptional repressor and can potentially regulate BMP and TGF-beta signaling pathways through interactions with SMAD proteins.

ZNF8 is also known as HF.18, Zfp128.
