ZNF43

Description

The ZNF43 (zinc finger protein 43) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 19.

ZNF43 is a human gene that codes for Zinc finger protein 43, a member of the C2H2-type zinc finger gene family. These proteins are crucial for gene regulation and development and are highly conserved across species. Many zinc finger proteins with C2H2 fingers also contain the KRAB domain, which is known to be involved in protein interactions. This gene product is one of those, suggesting potential interactions with other proteins.

ZNF43 is also known as HTF6, KOX27, ZNF39L1.
