ZNF12


Description

The ZNF12 (zinc finger protein 12) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 7.

ZNF12 acts as a transcriptional repressor, inhibiting the activation of genes regulated by the AP-1 (activator protein 1) and SRE (serum response element) transcription factor complexes.

ZNF12 is also known as GIOT-3, HZF11, KOX3, ZNF325.
