ZG16B

Description

The ZG16B (zymogen granule protein 16B) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 16.

ZG16B plays a significant role in the progression and spread of pancreatic tumors. It facilitates the movement and invasion of pancreatic cancer cells by activating the TLR4/MyD88/NF-kappaB signaling pathway. Notably, this activity does not involve the TLR4/TRIF pathway.

ZG16B is also known as EECP, HRPE773, JCLN2, PAUF, PRO1567.
