ZFAT

Description

The ZFAT (zinc finger and AT-hook domain containing) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 8.

ZFAT is thought to be involved in regulating gene expression. When ZFAT levels are high, it can reduce the activity of many genes that are important for the immune system. However, it can also increase the activity of some other genes (based on similarities to other proteins).

ZFAT is also known as AITD3, ZFAT1, ZNF406.
