ZDHHC4

Description

The ZDHHC4 (zinc finger DHHC-type palmitoyltransferase 4) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 7.

ZDHHC4, a probable palmitoyltransferase, is an enzyme encoded by the ZDHHC4 gene in humans.

Palmitoyltransferase ZDHHC4 may facilitate the attachment of palmitate to protein substrates, such as the D(2) dopamine receptor DRD2.

ZDHHC4 is also known as ZNF374.
