WDR37

Description

The WDR37 (WD repeat domain 37) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 10.

The WDR37 gene encodes a WD repeat protein, a family of proteins involved in various cellular processes like cell cycle control, signaling, apoptosis, and gene regulation. Mutations in WDR37 have been associated with human health issues.

WDR37 is essential for the proper regulation of calcium levels within the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) of lymphocytes. Working in conjunction with PACS1, it plays a critical role in maintaining stable populations of lymphocytes in the periphery.

WDR37 is also known as NOCGUS.
