VSTM1
Description
The VSTM1 (V-set and transmembrane domain containing 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 19.
Isoform 2 acts as a cytokine, stimulating the production of IL17A by CD4+ T-cells. It also contributes to the differentiation and activation of helper T-cells that produce IL17 (TH17 cells).
VSTM1 is also known as SIRL-1, SIRL1, UNQ3033.
