USE1

Description

The USE1 (unconventional SNARE in the ER 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 19.

Uncharacterized hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells protein MDS032, also known as MDS032, is a protein which in humans is encoded by the MDS032 gene. D12, the mouse homolog of MDS032, is a SNARE protein involved with the Golgi secretory apparatus and with endosome-lysosome transport.

SNARE protein potentially involved in targeting and fusion of Golgi-derived retrograde transport vesicles with the endoplasmic reticulum (ER).

USE1 is also known as D12, MDS032, P31, SLT1.
