TYRO3
Description
The TYRO3 (TYRO3 protein tyrosine kinase) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 15.
TYRO3 (Tyrosine-protein kinase receptor TYRO3) is an enzyme encoded by the TYRO3 gene in humans.
TYRO3 is a receptor tyrosine kinase that transmits signals from the extracellular matrix into the cytoplasm. It binds to ligands such as TULP1 and GAS6, triggering dimerization and autophosphorylation. This activates downstream signaling pathways, including the AKT survival pathway and the NF-κB signaling pathway. TYRO3 plays roles in cell survival, migration, differentiation, neuron protection, platelet aggregation, cytoskeleton reorganization, and immune response modulation.
TYRO3 is also known as BYK, Dtk, Etk-2, RSE, Rek, Sky, Tif.
