Description
The TUBE1 (tubulin epsilon 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 6.
The TUBE1 gene in humans encodes Tubulin, epsilon 1, a protein belonging to the tubulin superfamily. This protein is localized to the centriolar sub-distal appendages, which are associated with the older of the two centrioles after centrosome duplication.
