TSN
Description
The TSN (translin) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 2.
TSN may refer to:
TSN is a DNA-binding protein that specifically recognizes consensus sequences at the breakpoint junctions in chromosomal translocations, primarily involving immunoglobulin (Ig) and T-cell receptor gene segments. It appears to recognize single-stranded DNA ends generated by staggered breaks at recombination hot spots.
TSN is also known as BCLF-1, C3PO, RCHF1, REHF-1, TBRBP, TRSLN.
