TRIM52

Description

The TRIM52 (tripartite motif containing 52) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 5.

TRIM52, also known as RNF102, is a protein in the tripartite motif family. It is encoded by the gene of the same name in humans. Knockdown of this gene induces apoptosis. Overexpression of this gene has been implicated in multiple types of cancer, including ovarian cancer, gastric cancer, and colon cancer.

E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that positively regulates the NF-kappa-B signaling pathway.

TRIM52 is also known as RNF102.
