TREML2

Description

The TREML2 (triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells like 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 6.

TREML2 is a cell surface receptor involved in both innate and adaptive immune responses. It acts as a counter-receptor for CD276, and their interaction on T-cells enhances T-cell activation.

TREML2 is also known as C6orf76, TLT-2, TLT2, dJ238O23.1.
