Description

The TOR2A (torsin family 2 member A) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 9.

Torsin-2A is a protein encoded by the TOR2A gene in humans.

Salusins -alpha and -beta are potential endocrine and/or paracrine factors that can elevate intracellular calcium levels and trigger cell proliferation. They might also function as potent hypotensive peptides.

TOR2A is also known as TORP1.
