TOM1L2

Description

The TOM1L2 (target of myb1 like 2 membrane trafficking protein) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 17.

TOM1-like protein 2 is a protein encoded by the TOM1L2 gene in humans.

TOM1L2 acts as a MYO6/Myosin VI adapter protein, directing myosin VI to endocytic structures. It might also contribute to the recruitment of clathrin to endosomes and potentially regulate growth factor-induced mitogenic signaling.

TOM1L2 is also known as -.
