TIPARP

Description

The TIPARP (TCDD inducible poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.

TIPARP (TCDD-inducible poly [ADP-ribose] polymerase) is an enzyme that is encoded by the TIPARP gene in humans.

TIPARP is an ADP-ribosyltransferase that adds a single ADP-ribose molecule to glutamate, aspartate, and cysteine residues on target proteins. TIPARP also acts as a negative regulator of AHR by adding an ADP-ribose molecule to AHR, which inhibits the AHR transcription activator activity.

TIPARP is also known as ARTD14, PARP7, pART14.
