TBPL2
Description
The TBPL2 (TATA-box binding protein like 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 14.
TBPL2, in complex with TAF3, acts as a transcription factor crucial for the differentiation of myoblasts into myocytes. This complex replaces TFIID at specific promoters during the early stages of this differentiation process.
TBPL2 is also known as TBP2, TRF3.
