SYTL4
Description
The SYTL4 (synaptotagmin like 4) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome X.
SYTL4 is a protein that is encoded by the SYTL4 gene in humans.
SYTL4 modulates the release of hormones from dense-core granules in the pancreas and pituitary gland. It interacts with vesicles containing negatively charged phospholipids without requiring calcium.
SYTL4 is also known as SLP4.
