SNORA5B

Description

The SNORA5B (small nucleolar RNA, H/ACA box 5B) is a snoRNA gene located on chromosome 7.

SNORA5B is a small nucleolar RNA (snoRNA) that is involved in the modification of ribosomal RNA (rRNA). It is predicted to guide the 2'-O-methylation of 18S rRNA at position U1266.

SNORA5B is a member of the C/D box small nucleolar RNA (snoRNA) family. These snoRNAs are involved in the modification of ribosomal RNA (rRNA) by guiding the site-specific 2'-O-methylation of rRNA. SNORA5B is predicted to guide the 2'-O-methylation of 18S rRNA at position U1266.

SNORA5B is also known as ACA5b.
