SLAIN2
Description
The SLAIN2 (SLAIN motif family member 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 4.
SLAIN2 binds to the plus end of microtubules, influencing microtubule dynamics and overall organization. It promotes the formation and growth of microtubules within the cytoplasm. SLAIN2 is crucial for maintaining the normal structure of the microtubule cytoskeleton during interphase.
SLAIN2 is also known as KIAA1458.
