The SLA (Src like adaptor) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 8.

SLA can refer to: Src-like-adapter protein 1

SLA (Src-like-adapter protein 1) acts as an adapter protein that negatively regulates T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling. It inhibits the activation of nuclear factor of activated T-cells (NFAT) triggered by T-cell antigen-receptor engagement. SLA plays a role in the negative regulation of positive selection and mitosis of T-cells. It potentially acts by connecting signaling proteins like ZAP70 with CBL, resulting in CBL-dependent degradation of signaling proteins.

SLA is also known as SLA1, SLAP.
