The SHISA8 (shisa family member 8) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 22.

SHISA8 may regulate the movement and activity of AMPA-type glutamate receptors (AMPARs) at synapses.

SHISA8 is also known as C22orf17, Orf26.
