SH3GL3

Description

The SH3GL3 (SH3 domain containing GRB2 like 3, endophilin A3) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 15.

Endophilin-A3 is a protein in humans encoded by the SH3GL3 gene. It has been shown to interact with Huntingtin and SH3KBP1.

Endophilin-A3 plays a role in endocytosis, a process by which cells internalize molecules and particles from their surroundings. It may also facilitate the recruitment of other proteins to membranes with a high degree of curvature.

SH3GL3 is also known as CNSA3, EEN-B2, HsT19371, SH3D2C, SH3P13.
