Description

The SCAI (suppressor of cancer cell invasion) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 9.

SCAI is a human gene. It is not related to the Specialty Coffee Association of Indonesia or Scientific Computer Applications Inc.

SCAI is a tumor suppressor that inhibits MRTFA-induced SRF transcriptional activity. It may play a role in the RHOA-DIAPH1 signaling pathway and regulate cell migration by controlling the expression of ITGB1.

SCAI is also known as C9orf126, NET40.
