RPRM

Description

The RPRM (reprimo, TP53 dependent G2 arrest mediator homolog) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 2.

RPRM may play a role in regulating the cell cycle by inducing G2 arrest, a process that depends on the p53 protein. It is thought to achieve this by hindering the activity of CDK1 (cyclin-dependent kinase 1) and preventing the CDC2 cyclin B1 complex from entering the nucleus.

RPRM is also known as REPRIMO.
