RNF24
Description
The RNF24 (ring finger protein 24) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 20.
RNF24 is a protein encoded by the RNF24 gene in humans. It binds to TRPC6 and other members of the transient receptor potential cation channel (TRPC) family, regulating their intracellular trafficking. RNF24 also shares similarities with the Drosophila goliath protein, suggesting it might act as a transcription factor.
May play a role in the intracellular trafficking of TRPCs.
RNF24 is also known as G1L.
