RFX7

Description

The RFX7 (regulatory factor X7) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 15.

RFX7 acts as a transcriptional activator by binding to promoter regions of target genes such as PDCD4, PIK3IP1, MXD4, PNRC1, and RFX5. It plays a role in natural killer cell maintenance and immunity. RFX7 may also play a role in the process of ciliogenesis in the neural tube and neural tube closure.

RFX7 is also known as MRD71, RFXDC2.
