RBMX2

Description

The RBMX2 (RNA binding motif protein X-linked 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome X.

RBMX2 plays a role in pre-mRNA splicing as a component of the activated spliceosome. It is also involved in the splicing of U12-type introns in pre-mRNAs as part of the minor spliceosome. These functions are supported by evidence from multiple studies, including PubMed IDs 29360106, 29361316, and 33509932.

RBMX2 is also known as CGI-79, Snu17.
