RAPH1
Description
The RAPH1 (Ras association (RalGDS/AF-6) and pleckstrin homology domains 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 2.
Ras-associated and pleckstrin homology domains-containing protein 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the RAPH1 gene.
RAPH1 plays a critical role in localized membrane signaling and influences cellular processes. It regulates lamellipodial dynamics, which are essential for cell movement and migration. Additionally, it negatively regulates cell adhesion, potentially influencing cell-cell interactions and tissue formation.
RAPH1 is also known as ALS2CR18, ALS2CR9, LPD, PREL-2, PREL2, RMO1, RalGDS/AF-6.
