RAP2C

Description

The RAP2C (RAP2C, member of RAS oncogene family) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome X.

RAP2C is a small GTP-binding protein that switches between an inactive GDP-bound state and an active GTP-bound state. It is involved in rearranging the cytoskeleton, controlling cell spreading through activation of the TNIK effector, and potentially influencing gene transcription via the SRE pathway.
