RAP1GAP

Description

The RAP1GAP (RAP1 GTPase activating protein) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

RAP1GAP is an enzyme encoded by the RAP1GAP gene in humans. It has been shown to interact with MLLT4.

RAP1GAP acts as a GTPase activator for the nuclear Ras-related regulatory protein RAP-1A (KREV-1), converting it to the putatively inactive GDP-bound state.

RAP1GAP is also known as RAP1GA1, RAP1GAP1, RAP1GAPII, RAPGAP.
