RABGAP1

Description

The RABGAP1 (RAB GTPase activating protein 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 9.

RABGAP1 is a human protein encoded by the RABGAP1 gene. It functions as a GTPase-activating protein.

RABGAP1 may act as a GTPase-activating protein for RAB6A, potentially playing a role in microtubule nucleation at the centrosome. It could also be involved in a RAB6A-mediated pathway that regulates the transition from metaphase to anaphase during cell division.

RABGAP1 is also known as GAPCENA, TBC1D11.
