RAB6B

Description

The RAB6B (RAB6B, member RAS oncogene family) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.

RAB6B is a protein that in humans is encoded by the RAB6B gene.

RAB6B is a small GTPase involved in regulating intracellular membrane trafficking. It cycles between active GTP-bound and inactive GDP-bound states, playing a role in retrograde membrane traffic at the Golgi complex and neuronal cells. RAB6B contributes to maintaining organelle identity and morphology, recruits VPS13B to the Golgi membrane, and regulates the compacted morphology of the Golgi.

RAB6B is also known as -.
